Brenda,
Just wanted to let you how well Cortez did on his first trail ride!!  Last
night we headed to the park to see how far we could go.  Between the
softball game, basketball game, walkers, runners, dogs, kids, wooden
bridges, pipes, rabbits, etc. that it would be a short ride for me and a
long walk for both of us.  I was sooooo amazed at his reaction, not only did
he complete the whole trail with me in the saddle he reacted to only a few
things and willing followed the other horse past the scary item.  To top
it all off he lead the whole way around!!!!  Sara couldn't believe how bold
he was he would take the lead right back after something bothered him.  He
was all at attention, but never once did anything stupid.  His shy reflex is
next to nothing and he only sped away from busy traffic once and came right
back to down to a walk with a couple easy requests.  He really is such a
great horse!!  I can't wait to take him out again.

Received 6/07     Brenda,   Cortez is b/w 14.3 and 15 hands.  He has just filled out this year he
looked like a stick for awhile my dad keep wondering when his chest would fill out.  His
sister may be taller than he is when she stops growing.  I really couldn't be happier (he
is the cutest little trail horse, all the little kids and patients from the local nursing
homes love him)  ……I also have to say for all the neg
things I have heard people say about Paso’s this horse is great my dad is using a
walker/wheel chair full time now Cortez could care less.  My mom gets on him every once in awhile he's perfect.  My sister rides him same deal no antics.  For me it's another
story.... You do have really nice horses and they are just what promise. Kathleen
